Reality to Runway - students and models
1.       SHOW CASE day as you can see there are three distinct looks ,Masquerade where the brief was high hair , French rolls with teasing and curls .Great Gatsby stylish sleek hair with finger waves and Dolls which was Avante Garde. Three quite different looks that the students envisioned, designed and implemented.

On stage demonstrating at Reality to Runway
1.       Part of the showcase is the students demonstrating their skills on stage. First they find the inspiration then they practice their look, then they film an instructional video so other students can reproduce the style, then they do it on stage whilst I ask them questions ,which can be quite scary but it gives the students confidence to do platform work. The Entertainment students  film close up of the work being done and it is projected behind us so the audience can see the intricate work.

Yr 12 students preparing for Reality to Runway
1.       This photo is of Eliza who works in a city salon and she likes to do editorial work in magazines which her salon specialises in. Every September we run a hair and beauty showcase where we invite industry, educators , parents and friends to a demonstration of work the students have learnt whilst at college. This year our themes were Masquerade, Great Gatsby and Dolls. Eliza is practicing a style she has created using skills that she acquired at TAFE , constructing two French rolls using padding to create the illusion of a bow, for the doll section.

Mothers Day Pamaper Pack - Renee & Jacques-Claude
We like to invite clients to our salons so students experience a real salon environment with time constraints ,work health and safety and communication skills. This photo was our Pamper Day where we invited Mum’s of students to attend the college and they received a Facial, Hair Treatment, Blow dry and make up. It is a very successful day as the students have to communicate with the Client the Make up Artist in a professional way at all times.
