SCCVC Hairdressing Photo 4

Another program the students do is the hair and Make up for CASPA , which is the Catholic School performing arts, this photo was taken backstage at the Sydney Entertainment Centre where the students completed 150 lead ensemble and cast  hair styles three performances a day over three days to a production of 2000 students called “Tell Me a Story” some of the characters consisted of Cinderella, Big bad wolf, the three ugly sisters and various others. Two students were so impressive they were given by the organisers references for their dedication, professionalism and ability.

    1. In fact the stylists are the Hairdressing students themselves. They are working on the lead performers in the show. They had to work under extreme pressure and in close proximity to each other. It was a great experience for these students who for some were only 16 years old at the time.

    1. This event only happens once every 3 years on this scale. In other years, the size of the production is much smaller. We were very fortunate to be able to participate in this project.
