| Yr 12 students preparing for Reality to Runway |
1. This
photo is of Eliza who works in a city salon and she likes to do editorial work
in magazines which her salon specialises in. Every September we run a hair and beauty
showcase where we invite industry, educators , parents and friends to a
demonstration of work the students have learnt whilst at college. This year our
themes were Masquerade, Great Gatsby and Dolls. Eliza is practicing a style she
has created using skills that she acquired at TAFE , constructing two French
rolls using padding to create the illusion of a bow, for the doll section.
Very nice way to work.
ReplyDeleteEliza is one of my most experienced and competent stylists I have, who aims to work in New York at some time in her career, doing editorial type work (e.g. magazine, fashion shoots).

ReplyDeleteIt is very interesting to see your photo series, which explains the orgaizing of your education and wonderful pictures from practice. How young are your youngest students? Are they adults in TAFE or also students under 20?
